The Five Lights Center of Shiatsu

Service Description

Tai Chi is an ancient Chinese martial art that focuses on slow, flowing movements, deep breathing, and mindfulness to cultivate balance, strength, and inner harmony. Rooted in Taoist philosophy and Traditional Chinese Medicine, Tai Chi integrates movement and meditation, promoting overall well-being. Led by teacher José Rios, this class will: - Improve balance, coordination, and flexibility - Reduce stress and promote mental clarity - Enhance circulation and energy flow (Ki/Qi) - Support joint health and mobility - Boost the immune system and vitality This practice is suitable for all ages and skill levels. Whether you seek relaxation, improved health, or a deeper mind-body connection, Tai Chi offers a path to greater harmony and well-being. Tai Chi also complements Shiatsu study beautifully, as both disciplines emphasize the "Four Baskets" of knowledge: meditation, breathing, gentle movement, and self-massage!
