In Person. Join us for a transformative workshop using Shiatsu, an ancient Japanese healing practice designed to help relax, maintain health, and restore balance to your mind and body. Based on the Meridian system and energy flows in the body, Shiatsu can also help heal intergenerational trauma and bolster the body's immune system against viruses and infections such as COVID. Especially during this time of unprecedented hostility and prejudice, Shiatsu can be a valuable tool for bolstering your inner strength, guided by Buddhist principles of compassion and radical acceptance. This workshop is open to JCC members of all ages.

Presenter: Kumiko Kanayama

Kumiko Kanayama comes from a lineage of healers, including the legendary Buddhist monk Kukai.
