Über die Veranstaltung
This four-week series introduces participants to Makko Ho, a traditional Japanese movement practice that improves flexibility, restores balance, and supports overall well-being. This class blends the traditional Japanese Makko Ho with elements of Tai Chi, Qi Gong, tapping techniques, abdominal breathing, yoga, and Radio Taiso (Japanese morning exercises).
Silvia Velarde: A dedicated student of Grand Master Kumiko Kanayama at the Five Lights Center of Shiatsu Studies in NYC, she was born and raised in Perú, where she was initiated and inspired by gifted Maestros of Traditional Andean-Amazonian Medicine. Her healing journey continues as she incorporates and explores different techniques and ancient practices, including TJM, into her work.
