Cupping & Gua Sha Therapy Workshop


Cupping Therapy

Cupping therapy has been practiced for thousands of years. Historical evidence appears in ancient Egyptian medical texts (circa 1550 BCE) and early Chinese medical writings (1600–1040 BCE). Hippocrates also recommended cupping as an adjunct to medical treatment. Traditionally, it has been used in families to help relieve coughing, muscle tension, and pain.

Cupping stimulates local circulation, supports metabolic activity, and may enhance immune function. By creating gentle suction on the skin, cups encourage the movement of blood and lymph, promoting healing and reducing discomfort.
