Service Description

This Level 1 course will take place in person with Sensei Kumiko Kanayama. In it, you will be introduced to the history and philosophy of Shiatsu. You will be introduced to the concepts that form the foundation of Eastern medicine. You will learn the 12 primary meridians, as well as foundational techniques for working on some of them, in both prone and supine positions. You will practice techniques throughout the weekend with other students, receiving feedback from teacher and classmates.
