About Our Certification Programs:
Each bundle includes class instruction and materials. It also includes practice classes. A selection of elective courses will be available from the Five Lights Center of Shiatsu or other schools/centers/online.

Supervised Practice Classes = 100 hours

Elective Courses = 20 hours

No textbooks or other materials are required for the program.

500 Hour Zen Shiatsu Certification Training Program:
​
We offer a comprehensive curriculum based on traditional Japanese Zen Shiatsu at our Center. Students learn all aspects of the shiatsu practice in a rigorous yet friendly environment. Courses count toward our 500-hour Five Lights Shiatsu Certification which meets all national standards for the profession and enables graduates to apply for membership with the AOBTA (American Organization for Bodywork Therapies of Asia). Professionals, as well as non-professionals, are also welcome to take individual courses.

100 hours of Anatomy and Physiology can be taken Online - ABMP

50 hours Other Courses (First Aid & CPR, Ethics & Professional Conduct, Business Skills, Review of the laws, legislation, and regulations for the ABT profession, etc) can be taken Online - ABMP

Massage Therapists with Transfer Credit:
Your massage training may cover the Western Sciences and Professional Development classes, combined with Eastern Medicine and elective coursework to qualify you as a graduate of our 500-hour Zen Shiatsu training program. Email your transcript to kumiko@fivelightscenter.com

Payments are accepted via Cash, PayPal, Check, and ACH.

*Please note that registration in this course commits the student to pay for all levels included within the time frame indicated. If for any reason, a student is unable to continue studying at the time that the next level is offered, payment is still required, but they will be allowed to continue studying at that level when it is offered at a future time if an opening in the class is available.

Below is a list of the different types of trainings and programs we offer at Five Lights Center of Shiatsu.

Professional 500-Hour Certification Training Program:
​
We offer a comprehensive curriculum based on traditional japanese shiatus. Students learn all aspects of the shiatsu practice in person and online. Five Lights Wellness Program:

The five lights Intuitive Shiatsu™ wellness program provides a shiatsu education in the Zen shiatsu style. Our training has a strong focus on self awareness and self development. The program may provide a healing journey to improve not only your own well-being but also that of others.
Corporate Wellness Program:
​
This program is designed to improve your team's wellness through Makko Ho, shiatsu chair, stretching. This ancient Japanese method of self-care aims to reduce stress and lift productivity. All ages and fitness levels can achieve lasting benefits from remote sessions.
Global Shiatsu Virtual Gathering:
​
Shiatsu teachers, students, and practitioners meet to share knowledge and passion for the ancient Japanese Healing Arts. At the special event, the healing energy of self-care shiatsu is learned and practiced around the world from the comfort of home.
